In August 2006, Founder Paul Pinchuk took his 40+ years of music industry experience and founded MIDC Ltd. in partnership with John Hornby Skewes of Leeds, England. JHS North America was created. The company quickly evolved and now distributes five international brands of guitars, basses and a complete range of drumheads and percussion accessories.
After designing a basic website for MIDC within a week in 2008. Canopy Media was asked to incorporated every aspect and product in the Musical Instrument Distributors Canada catalogue, which was no small undertaking. Focussing on results, Canopy took the time to understand the growing business, create a unique brand, and most importantly efficiently deliver MIDC’s message to the multiple audience groups that visit the site – aiming to increase the size of the distributorship and its volume of sales.
